Britain has to increase battery recycling from the current level of 2.8% to over 25% by 2012 and over 45% by 2016. With a need to recycle an additional 200 million batteries per year within just 3 years we need to help the public by providing easily accessible collection points throughout the country. BatteryBack is committed to provide over 80,000 FREE collection points. Many of these points will be in schools, colleges, libraries and other public buildings. Until the law takes effect, BatteryBack is financing the cost of treatment and recovery.
